Azimut 72S Bareboat Charter — Miami, Florida
Jativa Holdings owns and operates the Azimut 72S for bareboat charter in Miami, Florida. We understand the unique legal framework governing bareboat (demise) charters under U.S. maritime law and are committed to transparent, legally compliant charter operations.
We operate strictly within U.S. Coast Guard regulations governing bareboat/demise charters as enforced by USCG Seventh District Headquarters (Miami), which oversees regulatory enforcement throughout Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Puerto Rico waters.
The Azimut 72S is not USCG-inspected or licensed for commercial passenger-for-hire operations because bareboat charters are specifically excluded from commercial passenger vessel requirements under 46 CFR § 24.10-1. Under a valid bareboat charter:
The Azimut 72S transfers complete possession and control to you (the charterer) for the charter period
You become the de facto owner and operator during the charter period
You assume all legal responsibility for operation, navigation, crew selection, and vessel management
Jativa Holdings (the owner) relinquishes all possession, control, and is not present onboard during the charter
This is not semantics — it is the legal definition of a bareboat charter under U.S. maritime law, and we adhere to it strictly.
When you charter the Azimut 72S bareboat, you assume the legal status and obligations of a vessel owner, including:
You select, hire, and directly compensate any master or crew. Jativa Holdings does not provide, recommend, or dictate crew.
You are solely responsible for safe navigation, operation, and compliance with all applicable maritime regulations during the charter period.
You provide all fuel, food, beverages, supplies, and stores required for the charter period.
You must obtain appropriate insurance coverage for the charter period. Jativa Holdings maintains hull, machinery, and P&I insurance on the vessel.
You are liable for any damage to the vessel beyond normal wear and tear, and for any liens or debts incurred during the charter period.
Maximum 12 passengers (including charterer) at any time per 46 CFR § 24.10-1(c).
You must return the Azimut 72S in the same condition as delivered (normal wear excepted), free of liens, debts, or encumbrances.
